My client a Cambridgeshire based Security Software specialist have a vacancy for a Technical Support Consultant (DNS, DHCP, ISA, Active Directory, Exchange, Firewalls, Anti-Virus, Microsoft).
Within this role you will be responsible for the internal Technical Support (Microsoft Environment) and provide both pre and post sales technical advice to the Sales team and end users (both customers and prospective customers) and liaise with suppliers on specific end user technical problems.
Technically you will have experience of:
- Microsoft Server 2003
- Exchange Server
- Active Directory
- DNS
- DHCP
- ISA (Proxy Server)
Any experience of security would be beneficial.
This is an opportunity for someone to progress in their technical career and work closely with the sales team (please note that no selling will be involved in this role). You will work closely with the sales team answering questions and advising on any technical issues.
This is an office based role but some travel will be involved for on-site customer installations.
