19 August 2008 - IoD Motorshow, Colchester

19 Aug 2008 Institute of Directors raise over £3,000 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Anglia Supply Chain Recruitment were very pleased to help organise the IoD Motorshow at Bentley Essex in Colchester and to sponsor the charity Scalextric Challenge again this August. 

It was a very glamorous affair with millions of pounds worth of Bentleys, Ferraris and Maseratis on show…

 

… and some beautiful pre-war Bentleys …

 

… including this gorgeous 3.5 litre Le Mans Blower. 

 

Tim Ryan introduced the evening

 

and Gary Pike welcomed us to his dealership, and lucky draw winners drove Bentleys and Maseratis in the roads around the area on the night. 

 

It was a very interactive experience for the guests with the opportunity to drive DPS Telecoms’ race car simulator.

 

Anglia Supply Chain Recruitment were proud to sponsor the enormous six-lane Scalextric track.

 

And Clive was delighted to retain his championship trophy.

 

Unfortunately for him, the trophy was all he won, not the fabulous Ferrari behind him!

 

The evening concluded with a charity auction which boosted the funds raised to over £3,000 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
